Why Annual Inspections?

Most associations will ask the management company to perform an annual property inspection. The manager will drive through the community or walk the community, perhaps with a board member(s) to inspect each owner’s property to determine if there are any maintenance issues that need attention.

The purpose of this inspection is definitely not to harass owners, but rather to point out items that you may not have noticed. The benefit of the inspection and request for owners to complete these repairs is to enhance the beauty and value of your community.

A well-maintained community, with attractive property values, benefits every owner. Such a community will attract buyers and as sales go up everyone benefits from the increase to property values.
